Insisto en que pruebes con el ocular de mayor focal que tengas (supongo que un 20mm), no puede ser que con el erector veas mejor que con un ocular solo, no es lógico.

Probá moviendo las ruedas de foco todo su recorrido, en algún momento tenés que hacer foco, si no lo hacés puede ser que hayan ensamblado tu telescopio con un espejo de focal diferente a 700 (ha pasado anteriormente), y por eso solo puedas hacer foco con el erector.
