Las nebulosas LDN hacen referencia al Catálogo de Nebulosas Oscuras de Lynds (por sus siglas en inglés, Lynds' Catalogue of Dark Nebulae), compilado por la astrónoma estadounidense Beverly Turner Lynds y publicado en 1962, Son densas nubes de gas interestelar y polvo cósmico extremadamente opacas, en la imagen se ven en un mar de estrellas junto con nebulosas de emisión de hidrogeno.

El equipo utilizado; Telescopio Skywatcher Newton 200 PDS + Montura ZWO AM7 + Cámara ZWO 2600 MC Dúo.
