Les cuento que estuve experimentando con los scripts de referencia en PI. 

Me pareció interesante porque el primero permite saber la focal real del telescopio y el segundo indica los objetos que están en el background.

Aclaro que no conozco mucho de Pix Insight... solo calibro, registro e integro  los subs, pero esto me pareció muy piola para compartir.

 

Por si interesa hay un tutorial de Enzo de Bernardini que lo explica muy bien.

En mi caso lo apliqué a una imagen de NGC 1808 que procesé recientemente.

La tome con un SW 8" con un espejo de Orion Optics UK y un paracorr de Televue que indica una focal de 1143 mm

 

Luego el script Annotate referencia varias galaxias PGC y estrellas en la imagen.

Dejo la imagen en su resolución nativa
