El cometa se ha ido expandiendo recientemente desde que exploto en Octubre

de tal manera que es tan largo que apenas entra en un cuadro de de una camara CCD - dice " Apostolos Christou y David Asher del observatorio Armagh, quienes hicieron esta animacion de dos cuadros el 22 de noviembre.

Cada cuadro es de 30 seg de exposicion a traves de un Celestron de 6", el tiempo de toma entre cada foto es de 45 min

El cometa al expandirse y alejarse, se lo ve muy difuso, pero todavia se lo puede ver a simple vista en zonas rurales, en ciudades con polucion luminica, es recomendable un par de binoculares.
