te paso un grafico donde se pueden ver las "ventanas" en las diferentes longitudes de onda, una de ellas el infrarrojo.

Excelente, gracias marcelo, mi consulta fué por que estuve leyendo la noticia del descubrimiento de una estrella (gigante roja) detectable en la franja de frecuencia correspondiente al infrarrojo, que por su composición está generando los componentes primigenios generadores de vida (cada vez escribo mejor :shock: ).
